Wonderful castle dating from the 13th century, Strmol castle, is situated only 10 km from the Brdo estate, and 3 km from the international airport of Ljubljana Jože Pučnik. The castle has been renovated and refurbished in the period 2010-2012 and is an ideal place for the organization of artistic and business events.
The castle has a soul; its luxurious interior tells the story of a rich industrial Rado Hribar, the owner of Strmol estate from 1936–1944. He and his wife Ksenija, both very extravagant, cosmopolitans and art lovers hosted numerous respectable members of Slovenian and European society of the time. Their sophisticated taste for home décor is recognizable even today.

Further on, various paths lead to different halls. Splendens hall and Glass hall are unique due to their glass walls and stunning views to the grand Brdo estate.
For the organization of special events, the perfect choice is Strmol castle. When greatness is needed, the elegance of a former noble residence is without doubt the right decision. Strmol castle offers various parlours suitable for organizing an important meeting, presentation, press conference, signing of an important document etc.
